"The room was a bit strange. The shower was in the middle of the room with only a clear door. Which is a little uncomfortable when you are staying with a friend! But otherwise it was essentially a bedroom and then an entire other room so there was plenty of space. The breakfast was delicious with tons of great options. The location is great, very close to the train station. This is my second time staying here and I would come back again."

"Clean new hotel, quiet location with very good staff. But there are a few issues, the room you see in the picture when you book probably wont look anything like the one you get. We booked their most expensive room and it wasnt spacious like the image, it was very small. We paid for a lagoon view, but almost all have the view and if you avoid paying the extra you will probably get a lagoon view anyway. Breakfast is OK, main issue is they have just 1 non commercial 2 slice toaster for dozens of people, I never saw anyone actually get brown toast, when I asked why they just shrugged their shoulders. Another issue was the lift, the hotel had one of 2 lifts broken that access the 3rd floor for the entire time we were there, then they opened a new restaurant on the 3rd floor before fixing the lift. The communications are a bit odd, they send you an email with the menu for the restaurant and its for a restaurant they have closed and bears no resemblance to the actual menu."

"I believe the hotel is over rated. Maybe a 7.5/8, not really a 9. With carpet in the rooms, if you have allergies you might suffer a bit. The room overall is ok. The breakfast is really good, which is a positive thing and there are few good restaurants nearby for dinner. Also, is very close if you need to take a bus yo the airport or a train to other places in Italy"

"Excellent hotel. 50 steps from St Marks Square. Beautiful view of Gondola launch area from the room. Clean room. Modern amenities. A bit noisy from the gondola area in the morning. Ear plugs fixed that minor inconvenience. They have their own gondola launch door who appears to get priority service. The only complaint was that the shower would fluctuate from a comfortable temperature to very hot and then cold. Suspect a water pressure issue. They could benefit from pressure balancing faucets to prevent scalding. Stood to the side of the shower stream and popped in and out as temperature changed. Managed to take a decent shower. Could be an issue for children or elderly people. I still rate the hotel very high and would stay there again."
