The owner originally said that his restaurant was closed on Sundays, but then felt bad for us and opened it just for us. The meal was great and he only charged us 53 euros for a dinner with wine. "This hotel was booked mainly on price but after booking in, we decided to stay for the week. Potenza is a lovely little town with all kinds of bars and restaurants where you will meet interesting, friendly people. I would post photos but they say they are too big. "Hotel is in a good location walkable to the historic centre but the road in is winding and the GPS may need to be ignored for some turns. Room was clean and comfortable and service friendly and helpful. Parking was available underneath. A nice continental breakfast buffet with perfect cappuccino."

Rocchina is a great host and really looked after us well, served us an appetiser and breakfast on our balcony as it was our wedding anniversary. Thank you Rocchina! This place is a little sanctuary off of the beaten track. We had a really good night sleep in the cave rooms. "
