Beautiful Hotel

Beautiful hotel with gorgeous Egyptian fountain in entry way. Concierge was very helpful getting us a driver for the day to visit museums. Connected to the largest mall I have ever seen in my life.

Loction is excellent to stay specially before travelling back home as you can make shopping from connected mall and close to the airport . This time the didn't like the breakfast buffet services , the level of food selection and cleanliness of the area .

Good hotel but bad smoke smell in many rooms..

First night they put us in a smoking room even though we had asked for non smoking. Everything was smelling terrible and folks got asthma. We were at this hotel for 1.5 days so became difficult to change rooms. When we came back a week later to stay here (had prebooked), they gave us a non smoking room that also smelt terrible. They then moved us to another one which was a downgrade to my original room, but we took it. The checkin folks are good, nothing above and beyond what you would see at most hotels. Service in the Egyptian restaurant is very bad, though the food is good. Very slow, after they serve you will disappear for a good amount of time until you flag them down if you want a drink refill, etc.. Room Service is VERY good. Great food, selection, fair pricing, service, polite, etc.. Hotel decor overall is very nice in the lobby, and being connected to a mall is very convenient if you want to go shopping. Be very careful about the smoke in the rooms, and make sure they dont downgrade you to a worse room when you ask for a change.
