"Dirt in the room and under the bed. Staff generally good. Booking came with a room upgrade due to status. Room upgrade didn’t occur despite the hotel being empty and having availability on their website. Emailed the hotel through Expedia app (replying to the message they sent me) asking questions. That was ignored and not responded to. Dinner food quality was poor considering my the level they quote themselves to be at and prices charged. Ice cream for dessert clearly suffering from freezer burn...

"What a beautiful oasis...set in peaceful pretty surroundings. The spa was fantastic,dinner was amazing and the breakfast ..out of this world. The staff so polite and helpful. Il be back..just what I needed. "

"We arrived around 4:30, the carpark was busy and the restaurant really busy - wasn’t an issue for us as we were going out. The reception is away from the hustle and bustle of the bar/ restaurant which was good. The room was big enough, but the beds are really small. My husband had to go and ask for another room (on his own) as the double was bearly wide enough for both of us, let alone long enough. … so if you are over 5’8 you will struggle. "I had room 233.. sadly the road outside is busy all through the night. I can normally sleep through anything but sadly not this. Eventually got to sleep at 3.30am after trying ideas to block out noise. Shame really as the hotel and staff are lovely."
