I would not recommend

Honestly I should have known from how rude the bald receptionist was when I entered of how the stay was going to pan out. The whole reception looked so run down I thought I was at an abandoned location….. The room was extremely basic and unkept. The walls were stained and tiles were falling off. If you are slightly larger / taller than average good luck fitting on the bed. There was no kettle and the curtains were as thin as tissue. I thought all inclusive breakfast would be a redeeming factor ….. I was wrong. Three options - sausages, cold scrambled egg and toast. I never want to see an egg again in my life. The cleaners were polite and the location was ideal being 30 seconds from the tram. So if you won’t eat, sleep or rest in your hotel room this will be perfect.

Convenient location, just off Andrássy út and a few minutes’ walk from the Terror House. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very basic, but there was enough to choose from, and it was included in the room rate. Overall, very reasonable for the price. Would stay again.

Great stay at this hotel

Really enjoyed staying at this hotel during my trip to Budapest. The location is a few mints from the metro. Breakfast was good (eggs, hot dogs, juices, breads, jams, cereals). Staff was extremely helpful. All the major attracrions were a few metro stops aways. Many restaurants in the neighbourhood to choose from.

Great and price, clean+calm, super team!

It was a great stay. Very helpful people working there very kind and aware. Room was simple, but clean and warm, the price is great, and the best location ever. 15 min walk to main parts of the city, 15 min - to National Museum (Wonderful collection) and House of Music (my fav in Budapest). Thank you!

The only issues we had during our stay was the shower drain did not work properly and we had to turn the water off and on while we were showering and the light bulb in the bathroom kept flickering on and off. The staff were very accommodating when we asked for an extra chair. The location was terrific being within walking distance of the Oktagon and across the street from a small park and a great market. And the price was very good.

Likely better in cooler weather.

Sadly the air conditioning unit did not work for long, it went from cold to hot every few minutes. I saw a cockroach in the bathroom and the toilet leaked when it flushed. The breakfast and the staff were very good! I have never been to the city so I don't know if this is usual.

Pleasant stay

I had an overall pleasant stay at this hotel. The daily provision of fresh beddings and towels was a nice touch, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always greeting with a smile. While the room was initially quite warm, the air cooler provided was easy to use and worked well to keep things comfortable. I also appreciated the convenience of the 24/7 reception, which added to the sense of excellent service. The breakfast, however, was a bit basic. I’d recommend exploring breakfast options in the city for more variety, but if you choose to eat at the hotel, it’s best to go early. I had read earlier reviews mentioning issues such as noise, uncleanliness, and cold rooms, but my experience was the exact opposite. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Would definitely recommend it! It's very affordable as well.

This is a very basic property. It appears to be a series of mini apartments amongst other people living in the building. The big red flag is the numerous messages that they are not responsible for items in the room. It’s at the front counter and in the rooms. It’s like they need to call it as it happens. The positive is the location is very good. 1 minute to the M1 line

Most staff at the front desk were unfriendly. The only way to get the room to a bearable temperature was to leave the air con unit on all night, which was so loud it was difficult to sleep. There was only 1 free plug socket in the room. The shower doors didn't close fully and the basin didn't drain quickly enough. The toilet seat kept coming off and we had to ask for more toilet roll twice. The breakfast was quite good and the rooms were cleaned daily, but that's about all the positives there are.

Hi I have stayed 3 nights in this hotel and I can’t explain what a bad experience I had No respect for customer No looking after customers No good breakfast No room service I was sitting in the lounge waiting area and talking on the phone the receptionist came to me front of other people and stat abuse language and says go out said and use phone otherwise I will cancel your booking and shouting on me I told him you’re doing wrong there is camera but he says I don’t care. The day and time is below 28/05/2024 at 21:30 to 21:50 I mentioned him I will complain about you but he didn’t care. And today I was just about to check out at 11 am and bit late 10 minutes the hotel staff open the out without care my privacy and says hurry up check out I am travelling around the world but never seen this kind of bad behaviour
