I have stayed at the Hotel Nemzeti a number of times and will always choose it. The reception staff are friendly, very helpful, knowledgeable and always will to give time to chat. The catering staff to make everyone welcome and the cleaning staff keep the rooms clean and tidy.

Nemzeti was great. We were so happy with the location, easy to walk everywhere. Loved the idea of the light rail outside the hotel too.

Centrally located, great hotel and service!

The hotel was centrally located and very convenient, major transportation were literally right outside the hotel. The front desk staff was all very helpful and very nice. They were always willing to help anytime we needed assistance or had questions. The hotel itself was very unique, I love that it has a rich history and its well maintained. The breakfast buffet was great with many different options. We loved the fresh honey, right out of the honeycomb. The amenities and toiletries in the room was a great touch and the complimentary glass water bottles was very appreciated. The big bed and plush pillows were just what we needed after long days of touring the city. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and I highly recommend this hotel.

Great location, beautiful hotel

All staff spoke English as well as Hungarian of course. The breakfast offered a wide range of high quality food catering for all dietary needs. I particularly liked traditional Hungarian options like pogacsa, kakaos csiga and a langos like bread with topping. The Austrian favourite, Kaiserschwarrn was also delicious, along with the fresh honeycomb and seasonal fruit. The location of the hotel is excellent, right on the tramline as well as having metro (=underground) and bus links. And it’s also an attractive building inside and out.
