"We were very unimpressed with the state of the building. We were in a tiny room in the attic with a bathroom that had no air con or extraction or any window that would open. The main room had a single socket that was practicably useful but from which it was impossible to position a fan to point at the beds. The patio area outside had broken glass on it that they seemed oblivious to until we raised it. It was cleared up half an hour later. There was torn wallpaper in one of the corridors....

"The hotel is nice. The hotel pub is the same. And the staff is polite. The coffee machine DID NOT WORK in the room. You couldn’t even put the mug (from the hotel room not my personal one) to pour coffee in it because it is too big. In the room there are no sockets. I wanted to charge my laptop and other devices, I didn’t have where. There are two “sockets” on one side and the other of the bed STRICTLY for phone cables. Meaning you insert the cable directly. "The bed was very uncomfortable!!! It dipped in the middle so it was quite difficult to lie flat. The balcony only had one seat on it but, as we couldn’t get the door open anyway, that wasn’t a problem. I didn’t take a shower cap with me as I expected the hotel to provide a selection of toiletries. It didn’t.
