"Was very impressed when I first arrived at the hotel. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was very good and I liked how they provided a variety of options. Room was clean, modern and had nice coffee and tea options in room and a coffee bar was also available in lounge. Would recommend again and be staying there again. "

"The rooms and property photograph really well on the website, in reality the overall experience we had during our stay was that the whole place was icky. There was something gross on the elevator floor when we arrived and it was still there when we left the next day. Checked out the pool and hot tub and quickly turned around and headed back up to our room, as there were scum lines all around the water line of the pool. Breakfast was terrible, very bland scrambled eggs and the hash browns were terrible and under cooked (I didn't know it was possible to screw up hash browns, but apparently it is.) The juice machine wasn't working either. Bread selection was very limited and muffins were none existent as were types of yogurt and fruit. Perhaps we needed to arrive to breakfast earlier. The breakfast area was very over crowded with other guests and it could use a redesign on its layout. We stayed at six hotels during our family road trip from Vancouver Island to Winnipeg Manitoba and this was by far the worst hotel of the bunch. It actually was quite unfortunate as when you have a bad stay and a bad start to your day at breakfast it puts a damper on the beginning of the rest of the day. The hotel location is nice but the parking lot made me feel a bit uneasy as we had to park on the backside of the building which was very dark and gave me thoughts of possible break ins. Also it would be nice if this hotel offered an electrical vehicle charge station as one of it's amenities."

"Comfy bed and pillows. Spacious bathroom. Only thing there wasn't a bathroom fan."

"The breakfast was good but the sleep was terrible. The hotel has cardboard walls and you can hear anybody taking a bath or going to the toilet all night long. The location is also bad as it is in a low spot right next to a downhill to get in hinton so you hear all truckers all night slowing down by using their jake brakes. Stayed there 3 nights with 2 other employees in 3 different rooms and none of us slept well. Will not re-book there but it has nothing to do with the staff.. The motel is simply not insulated enough for noise and is very badly located."
