Essence Hotel

8/10 Good
"Nice hotel, very friendly staff. Rooms are pretty tiny, bed takes up most of the space and there is no room to sit/walk to the other side of the bed (I had a twin bed for 2 people) But if you are looking for a great location (right next to Brooklyn) and are only coming to the hotel to sleep and will be out most of the day, this is a great hotel. The place is very clean and well maintained. The staff are very friendly and accommodated us very well in terms of having a late checkout, keeping our luggage for storage, etc. I would definitely recommend if the price is good per night."

"The ice machine needs a deep cleaning. Transportation is close, as well as shopping, and a food eatery is close by"
