"Nice comfortable hotel an easy walking distance from everything in Colchester. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good quality. I liked the fact that breakfast is 'a la carte', as that reduces wastage. Cleanliness is good and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!"

"Everything was perfect, from the smooth checkin, the delicious freshly cooked English breakfast, the fruits looked delicious also. There was a great info pack in the room that gave me some ideas on what to do upon my return which I definitely will do soon! Safety was a big concern to me as a female travelor, I felt very safe both in the hotel and the surrounding area. I also managed to have some lovely conversations with both a guest, the team and the locals! Next time I will take a few pics,...

"Nice tidy and clean room that looked like it had been recently fitted out. Decent sized Kitchen at each end of the corridor i didn't use them but they looked fully kitted out and new. The hotel is on a quiet residential street but took me 5mins to walk into the town centre which has loads of bars, shops and restaurants. Worth calling ahead of arrival and they'll reserve you a parking spot (There aren't many spots) Nice bloke on reception showed us our rooms and kindly found me a fan. "

The dining options excellent, excellent choice for breakfast, well cooked breakfast piping hot. Excellent well presented food in the evening. menu chioce very good. "

"Wish they had more rooms with bigger beds Also wished they'd have had face towels. Overall great property. Staff were absolutely wonderful. Would definitely stay again while in Clacton. "
