Everything about our stay was fabulous. Great room, spacious, clean and comfortable bed. Always very quiet. Breakfast was a feast which set us up for the day. The spa facility was excellent. We loved our stay and the staff are fantastic.

Comfort e relax in un'atmosfera familiare

Hotel comodo ed accogliente, situato a ridosso del centro città, distante pochi minuti a piedi. Struttura di dimensioni medio-piccole, arredi datati ma curati e ben tenuti. Accoglienza calorosa ed informale, come nella migliore tradizione alto atesina. Camere semplici, spaziose e confortevoli, dotate di vasca da bagno e balcone. L'insonorizzazione interna non è perfetta (nella media, comunque), mentre dall'esterno arrivano pochi rumori, essendo una zona poco trafficata dalle auto. La colazione è di buona qualità, migliorabili i succhi di frutta e e marmellate. Per chi arriva in auto è disponibile un piccolo parcheggio interno al costo di 5 euro al giorno. In alternativa è possibile parcheggiare in garage al costo di 10 euro giornalieri. Parcheggiare all'esterno è quasi impossibile, e nel caso in cui ci si riesca necessario limitare la sosta a 90 minuti nei giorni feriali (nei week end invece la sosta è illimitata). Prima di arrivare, è consigliabile contattare la struttura per inserire l'indirizzo giusto sul navigatore. In alternativa, si rischia di dover attraversare aree a traffico limitato. L'hotel dispone di una piccola spa (la sauna è disponibile solo nel pomeriggio) con piscina interna e di una palestra, attrezzata in modo basilare, ma tutto sommato funzionale.

Facilities in the hotel are excellent.

Facilities are excellent and the staff very welcoming. Bus to Plose ski resort from right outside the hotel and the Brixen card is fabulous for travelling further.

Aufenthalt mit Zwischentönen

Ich war vom 13.06. - 17.06.2017 im Hotel Dominik in Brixen zu Gast. Das Hotel liegt am Rande der Altstadt und ist vom Bahnhof her mit dem City Bus gut erreichbar (Achtung: kein Bus am Samstagnachmittag und Sonntag). Beim Check In stellte ich fest, dass ich für meine Übernachtungen mit Halbpension für 2 Personen bezahlt hatte. Der von mir bezahlte Preis war demnach fast doppelt so hoch, wie vor Ort für 1 Person fällig gewesen wäre. Leider war die Receptionsmitarbeiterin nicht in der Lage, mir den Preisunterschied zu erstatten, da die Buchung im Voraus bezahlt wurde. Auch einen Gutschein vom Hotel wollte sie mir nicht ausstellen. So fühlte ich mich doch schon ziemlich über den Tisch gezogen. Ich werde wohl nicht in dieses Hotel zurückkehren. Das Servicepersonal im Restaurant war sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Das Essen selber fand ich durchzogen. Das Frühstücksbuffett ist top und auch das Vorspeisenbuffett am Abend lässt keine Wünsche offen. Der Hauptgang des Abendessens konnte nicht überzeugen - oft war das Fleisch zäh (Kalbsfilet) oder eher trocken (Stübenküken). Auch die Beilagen waren oft die Gleichen (Kartoffeln). Der Wellnessbereich ist klein aber fein und wurde neu erstellt. Whirpool etwas gar kaltes Wasser, aber im Sommer okay.

hotel fantastico in una localita' stupenda

ottimo hotel vicino al centro , ( passeggiata di 5 minuti) camere grandi con letto morbido e mega piumone , la nostra con terrazzino vista fiume . spa con piscina ( acqua un po freddina ) grande idromassaggio , zona relax con lettini e tisane 2 saune e bagno turco ( tedeschi e stranieri completamente nudi !!) altra zona relax con materassi ad acqua ) cena con antipasti , insalate , frutta e dolci a buffet , primi e secondi serviti al tavolo fra 3 scelte , colazione super fantastica , briosce' yogurt vari tipi , cereali ,salumi e uova in vari tipi fatte al momento su richiesta . insomma un hotel da ritornarci sicuramente grazie a tutto il personale sia per l'accoglienza che per il trattamento

Great hotel/spa close to old town

Located an easy walk to Old Town. This is a very nice hotel/spa. We had planned on taking advantage of the pool and spa facilities but ran out of time, (we only had one day). We took the short walk into the old town area and spent our time enjoying the character of old town and people watching from a sidewalk cafe. Be sure and have the schnitzel at Fink's cafe, (and their house red wine was good, that's coming from a California wine country snob).
