"The staff was not helpful when asked for any towels or keys not working. The carpets were extremely dirty. We were told the rooms were pet free and told only a certain floor was pet friendly. I have kids that are allergic to pet dander so this was important. Our floor also had dogs in rooms next door so that was false information. "I've stayed here many times while traveling through Mobile. First, to give credit where it's due, I still consider this the best hotel in Mobile. That said, each stay seems to come with a different room quality and a different staff experience. The staff is generally friendly and accommodating, although on occasion I get the impression that some employees are not particularly happy to be there. The rooms are the biggest unknown. I sometimes wonder if booking through Expedia results in being...

"Two beds and a sleeper sofa accommodated our family of six nicely. We used this room as a break in our family road trip, and it served its purpose well. There were a few signs of aging within the room (decor, window A/C unit was a bit beat up, etc), but overall it was a satisfactory stay. The breakfast gave good options also!"
