the staff was super courteous. the room was great. the location was amazing. the only problem i had was the water in the room was only luke warm. they said the water was properly set but i was shivering in the shower and the faucet was set all the way on hot. they did switch my room but it was only slightly better than the original room.

We thought the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. So many things to do in the area that are walkable. The breakfast across the street was fantastic for a minimal fee. We would definitely stay here again if we visited the area.

Beautiful place, the only downside I think are the rooms aren’t quiet in the morning. You can easily hear footsteps above you and movement outside. But other than that, it’s a beautiful hotel with unique history. Right there by the cruise port! And a short walk from dauphin street

Beautiful historic area with brick sidewalks and streets. The property has multiple buildings. We stayed in the main building, a historic old mansion. Everything is beautifully decorated and cozy. There is coffee and tea 24/7 in the lobby. Each room is unique, we stayed in the David room. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. Bed was comfy and the linens soft. They have a kcup machine, but no refrigerator. Its a block away from Fort Conde and walking distance to downtown, the convention center and the Perdido Queen Cruises. We just loved this property and will definitely stay there again!

It is a short walk from Amtrak. The room is clean and cozy and smells nice. It is also close to a few other attractions. A night stay gives you an option to have breakfast there for three dollars ( two eggs, choice of meat and drink) other choices available as well ( charged separately).

Beautiful five star building operating with staff about what one would expect from a motel six. The people were nice, they just did not appear trained in hospitality. Shouting up and down the hallways in the morning at each other. Finishing their own private conversations while a guest is waiting to talk to them. Leaving out beautiful envelopes requesting tips while leaving dust bunnies and used Kleenex under the bed.

Very welcoming staff. Really helpful when I had to extend my stay for 2 more nights at the last minute. Only unpractical things were the 1) lack of accessible ELECTRICAL plugs to connect laptop or phone chargers & 2) wifi was not really fast enough for business purposes with VPN. Besides those 2 éléments, really nice place

This was such a neat place to stay... Just minutes of safe walking from historic downtown Mobile. The Sanger theatre and basilica cathedral were only half a mile and many sights and hotel restaurants were closer. Fort conde was not open the day we were there but you could still walk around and see the signs. The room and historic hotel were just lovely and comfortable!
