"Beautiful rooms. We and our friends had the "Fantastia Mare" with a nice balcony and a great view high above the gulf. The property is lovely, ample, tasty and varied breakfast items were included and great dinner menu. But the best was the charming, gracious staff. We were made to feel so welcome! "15 minutes outside Riomaggiore, which I was worried about at first, however it was really nice to leave the busy town and the bus schedule was convenient. Large patio with amazing views. Incredible restaurant just up the street (il Borgo di campi) family owned, great food, two of the best meals we had on our trip to Italy. Hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful."

"This hotel is excellent. The rooms are very well equipped and clean. I stayed in the main building, I noticed they also had a building on the other (non beach) side of the road. Some of the rooms were sea facing, mine (no 2) was a single with side view of the sea from a spacious balcony/ terrace that was south facing. The small beach (down many flights of stairs) equipped with deck chairs was lovely. It’s worth noting the sun does not get to this beach till mid morning. If you wanted earlier sun...

"It was right in the harbor, which was very nice. The staff was great. One thing that I want to caution is that the bedroom is up stairs (but its more like a ladder) away from the bathroom."

"This was a great location in Riomaggiore. There was a unique way to get to it but someone met us at the train station and helped us get to our room. For seniors it has a lot of steep stairs and alleyway. Not sure I would stay again because of that. The staff were wonderful and the room was very comfortable. We really enjoyed our time there. Restaurant close by was good also."

"The hotel is at the hill of Talkero with beautiful view. They have the bus with several stop to Lerici which is quiet and scenic. We had the seafood spaghetti two times at the Restaurant Defanio and he restaurant nearby Ristorante Il Gambero Nero. They are phenomenal. The hotel also has great breakfast. The welcome drink is a plus. The balcony room with the sea breeze also veryy nice. We enjoyed our stay."

"We actually got lost getting to the property, we followed Google Maps and information at Rio Magiorre and not the instructions. Paola came and rescued us. He was so nice and charming. The property was the nicest and largest we stayed at in Italy and we had a beautiful view from our room. The bed was extremely comfortable and the air conditioning worked very well.
