"My favourite little hotel . Always like coming home. Very quiet, on the ocean , gorgeous view close to restaurants , shopping and spas. The staff are amazing and housekeeping excellent at maintaining a scent free space. Dog friendly so there is always a nice puppy to have ear scratches with for those who have to leave their fur babies at home."

"It was a comfortable classic mansion. We will return."

"Only was there for a couple hours before our flight. Very helpful and happy staff"

"Hotel is a little tired and could use some renovation…room smelled damp and old. On the plus side it is quiet, breakfast is good and close to airport"

"All in all the resort was clean and tidy. The staff was great. The pool and hot tub were excellent. However, we were confused about why the steam sauna and cold plunge are only available if you book them for a charge with the spa... The 1st evening we went down for a dip it was all open. There were no signs about having to "reserve" these amenities. So we used them for a short time. The next day there were signs on the door of the sauna saying "reserved". Kind of lame to be in a nice resort and...

"Have stayed at this property twice before under previous ownership Our visit was not gtea"

"We came in really late, and the front desk clerk was welcoming and helpful to this weary traveller. We also found the beds extremely comfy!"

"Clean room . I wished if hair conditioner was available."

"By far one of the nicer places I stayed at on my vacation trip to vancouver, Victoria and Tofino. It’s outside of victoria but it’s worth the drive. Has a beautiful view and a wonderful restaurant with great food. My wife had a wonderful birthday and I wish I stayed there longer."

"I specifically chose this hotel because it had a hot tub. There website did not say the hot tub was out of service. My room didn’t have a bath tub, only a shower, and no microwave. I’m always cold and have stomache issues so not being able to have a bath or heat up my Magic Bag (bean bag) was not great. I ended up regretting choosing this hotel, not worth the amount of money."

"Excellent location and staff. Family friendly and very walkable for exploring the city."

"Nice stay - asked for a late checkout and they were very accommodating."

"I stayed at Poets Cove back in 2023 and now again in 2026. This time I stayed in one of the villas for only one night. Unfortunately the cleaning services provided were poor, I found used soap on the floor of the powder room. There was hair and shampoo stains in one of the bathrooms and the shower curtains were also stained. Housekeeping is not provided if you are staying there for longer. However kitchen set up was nice, it had all the cookware and utensils and they even provided dish pods....
