"Dear Red Lion Hotel Management, I am writing to formally document a recent stay at your hotel that was, unfortunately, the worst experience I have ever had. While my initial impression of the property was positive, the quality of our stay deteriorated immediately after check-in. We were assigned a room on the second floor, where I first noticed that the hallway carpet was held together with tape. Upon entering the room, it was clear that it had not been properly cleaned; the area under the bed was particularly filthy and gross. The environment felt unsafe throughout the night due to loud voices and ongoing disturbances. When my daughter and I woke up early the next morning to leave, the hotel was full of police officers. My daughter was terrified by the situation. We were in town for a gymnastics meet, and the lack of sleep combined with feeling unsafe made for a horrible experience for both of us. I am normally not the kind of person to complain, but I felt it was necessary to bring these health and safety concerns to your attention. "I stayed twice in the last week. Saturday night was excellent! The airport shuttle was ready to go when I was, and we were on our way to the hotel. My room was great, quiet, comfortable bed. Thursday night I was on the first floor and it was louder. Breakfast hours did not accommodate my early flight (which I anticipated). Neither did airport shuttle which I found frustrating, since I chose a airport hotel for that reason...I can pay for an Uber from anywhere. All said and done, I'd stay again, but might look around if I have an early flight again. "
