"I have to say I waa really surprised at how nice this place was. The only issue for me (being a bigger bloke) was i couldn't fit in the shower as it only has a s.mall opening but I was able to get around ."

"The Staff were amazing, very helpful and while check in we had a confusion as we needed a connected room while booking had booked due to the fact that it had connected rooms, when we arrived after a 4 hrs. drive noticed that the booking was not as per how i booked. however the lady and the housekeeping staff helped to get a room quickly. this is amazing service, the only -ve i would say is the parking fee."

"Rooms were good size. Bed was large and comfy. Pillows were comfy. Bathroom was a good size. All very clean. The floors in the room are laminate and could do with a good hoover and mop. Swimming pool was a good size. Sauna and steam rooms were working and usable. Gym was small but had everything needed. £15 parking for 24hr is a let down. If your a staying guest parking should be included. Towels are supplied for use at the pool and gym so you don't have to take them from the room."

"Great stopover near M1 really decent food and drink good breakfast overall good experience only downside could hear upstairs flat when he came in and got up for early morning jog maybe blackout blinds for window and door glass other than that all good would definitely use again staff all very friendly and pleasant"

"My stay was only three nights but it turned out to be like two separate stays. I was checked into a single room as requested and was initially delighted with it. But I then found that it coincided with football being shown on a large screen TV just yards away in the courtyard from my window, and that my room was next door to a gents toilet open to the visitors (ie public). "The first room we were allocated was facing the bar and atrium so we asked to change to a room that faced outwards. The restaurant was good though a bit expensive. Coffee was also quite expensive."

"Looks great from the outside but tired in the inside. My room was quirky which was fine but the furniture and the bathroom in particular was very dated and could have done with some tlc. The food was ok - bar snacks - but seemed to be very random opening and closing times in the evening. Stunning grounds and location which partly made up for the underwhelming interior."

"Charming pub with rooms in the courtyard. Each one had parking outside. Very spacious room with comfortable bed, smart tv and tea & coffee making facilities. Good size en suite with great shower. Towels provided along with a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Breakfast was made to order along with continental options. Staff friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again. "
