"Considering the price, we had high hopes for our stay at this house, but unfortunately, we were quite disappointed. Upon arrival, we found the property was not very clean. There was urine left in the upstairs toilet, the downstairs bathroom was dusty with hair around the toilet, and the bath mat had been folded up while still wet. "Lovely staff, lovely room, only thing that let the hotel down was the other guests who were noisy in the hallway, were rude dropping doors closed on a wheelchair user, or came to breakfast unwashed and wearing inappropriate nightwear. Perhaps the hotel management could consider a 'no service if wearing nightwear' rule?"

"Perfect location for a stay close to family who live in Southsea. Everything we needed, including a bar to relax for an hour before bed. Free coffee and water in reception was awesome. All amenities on the doorstep in a wonderful safe environment. I would stay here every time."

"My second stay at this hotel which pretty much mirrored the previous stay with a few more positives. I found a perfect parking spot just near the entrance and didn't want to give it up so I dined at the sports bar which was a wise decision as the food provided was top notch. My room was on the 2nd floor just around the corner from the leisure facilities which I took full advantage of using both the cardio equipment and weights. A very powerful shower later had me ready for bed which was comfy and led to a decent night's sleep. The breakfast buffet had great ingredients for both a cooked and continental choice of which I sampled a bit of both. For the caliber of place this is and all you have at your disposal, to get a quality room like mine for under £100 is considered a great bargain and I look forward to being back here again in the future."

"I enjoyed an early swim noting a reasonable sized pool and that the cleanliness was good. I was able to use the jacuzzi, steam and sauna room also available. All staff were friendly and helpful. The bedroom was good and bathroom although the temperature was quite warm. Tried to alter it but with no luck. "
