Lovely hotel stunning views

Lovely hotel. Nice views 45 mins walk from old town . Indoor pool as it’s winter we used . Could do with an update in places and the food was really nice . Would definitely stay here again

Clean, comfortable and affordable

Great room, with excellent shower, and loads of space. Comfortable beds and pillows, and very nice balcony/roomette. Only addition to make it better would be some coffee and tea making facilities.

The staff were pleasant enough. The view was very good. The rooms were shrowded in a terrible green light, unfit for humankind. The breakfast was cheap and easy but due to the area, I am unsure I would share much with the people who fill the dinjng roo, in general, apart from a liking of hashbrowns and fried eggs. If you want an innexpsive nights stay, I would say that your peraonal worth is more than the area and the mirrors provide. Spend an extra twenty and go up a star. I am not prissy but am attempting to allow you to make your mind up and spend a little more, if you are sensetive.

Pros: Excellent location with breathtaking views, friendly staff and clean rooms. Cons: The breakfast was horrendous even the cornflakes were stale. Price of drinks in the bar were ridiculous Sun loungers have seen better days Up a slight hill

We had a very good experience staying at the hotel for 6nights. Good facilities right next to the beach and the hotel offers a beach towel rental service. Air conditioned room and a comfortable bed. Really beautiful view of the coast line for the sea view room. Only downside is that the walls are really thin so we could constantly hear the guests in the room next door and could hear their doors banging late at night. Also the shower has only a half glass panel door which meant the floor was constantly getting wet when showering. Apart from this we had a very pleasant stay at the hotel and would recommend it.

Overall our stay here was OK. The Hotel is old, the standard is quite low. You can tell people used to smoke here back in the days. The windows in the rooms are thin as paper, and when the wind is howling on the 11th floor, you need earbuds for the overwhelming noise level. There is a urin/mold-smell in the pool area. No changing rooms, and no bath robe or slippers is provided to take you from the room to the pool. The breakfast is actually quite good, but the dinner buffet was a big joke. Quite disgusting actually. But so are the food standard quite low in the whole of benidorm. We managed to change room after two nights (from 11th to 5th floor), but the hotel manager was obviously bothered about this, and said ”it’s not our fault it’s windy today, you should have told us earlier, and so on”. Ok señor, thank you for your help. The staircase is build in such a way so there is a hole all the way down from 11th floor to -2. And the fence is so sparce so a child can easily squeeze through. There is even a sign in the reception about this danger, but no action is taken. (The sign looks like its been hanging there for 50 years). The view is good, and the indoor pool keeps the kids busy on a rainy day. 2 minutes walk to the beach, and 5 minutes to several good indian restaurants (when you get tired of the british cusine; fries and micro-pizza.)

Excellent hotel and location at this price point, have stayed before and will stay again. Doesn't have the 'bells and whistles' of some other hotels, but is clean and friendly. Our only fault was the 'heated pool' is cold - but to be fair we did visit out of the peak season (but the pool was supposed to be warm even at this time). Certainly not a deal breaker for us though.

The hotel is quietly tucked away in the corner of the sea front, away from the hustle and bustle. The rooms are clean, with daily house keeping. The air conditioning in the rooms is fantastic. Shower is powerful. Sea view “balcony” is actually enclosed within the room with wide opening sliding windows. Personally I would prefer an actual balcony, but wonderful views still the same. The only thing I think the hotel could offer additionally in the rooms is a kettle/ tea-coffee maker. Reception staff were all friendly and helpful.

Booked the hotel on the strength of reviews and I have to say on the whole it was OK. Property was nice and clean and well maintained. My fear was the food as we went half board, I have to say it wasn't the best but not the worst. Very middle of the road but I think the menu was more for the Spanish clients. That leads me to the point of being British, it was a major hurdle. If you were Spanish the staff couldn't do enough for you but being British was clearly a handicap. They did what was needed and that was it. The welcome in the restaurant in an evening was "room number" but if you were Spanish they were laughing and joking hugging the family and kids ect ect. On the whole not a bad place to stay, just don't expect a warm welcome.
