"I LOVED staying at the oak tree in cabins. Check in was smooth and was surprisingly upgraded to their premium cabin pods which was a nice surprise. Lady at reception was so efficient with clear communication on how to find the cabin. Staff were so kind and food was amazing. Will definitely come again!"

"Breakfast service was excellent although the choice of continental is very limited and poorer quality products. The room was clean but very much in need of updating. The mechanical ventilation system makes the bathroom really quite cold and the towel rail was on fully. Love the hotel and staff and always a great vibe so none of this would put me off staying again but I’d love to see the rooms modernised. I’ve been staying here for 20 years now so I’m always going to choose this hotel over...

First night was really noisy and we couldn’t sleep (room 104 , just in front of the reception door) but next day, lovely lady from reception gave us a room on first floor, at the end of corridor and we slept really well! "We have stayed here a couple of times now and love it here. Rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean with some of my favourite toiletries in the bathroom and Tunnock biscuits for a snack. Breakfast is hot and tasty with cereals and a varied choice for breakfast from a full Scottish fry up to pastries, French toast and porridge to name a few. I chose the pancakes with banana and syrup and there were devine. Plenty of tea and coffee too. We had lunch on the Friday prior to checking in - fish...
