"Driving around San Pedro on the golf cart I’d have to say this place looks like the nicest resort on San Pedro Island. The room we had was like a one bedroom apartment with a half bathroom. Would definitely recommend this resort and would definitely stay again."

"Basically, everything works at the Mayan. Staff are friendly, rooms are clean with well equipped kitchens, and while it’s not in the least bit luxurious, it’s very nice. Reaching for just a couple of small complaints, there’s a bad odor on the lane outside the only entry/exit, and you have to knock on the window at the entrance if you want the water turned on so that you can rinse the sand from your feet. But, hey, it’s San Pedro! You could pay a lot more and still not beat the convenience, comfort and friendly character of the Mayan Princess."

"Absolutely fantastic 4 night stay for my 40th birthday at the Phoenix. The service and help from the staff can’t be beat. Fun beach bars and in town restaurants within walking distance. Snorkeling excursions to Hol Chan and Mexico Rocks. I didn’t want to leave !!"
