"The room was clean and had everything you’d want in a standard room. The property was gorgeous and we definitely made use of the indoor pool. The kids are already asking to go back! We also enjoyed lunch at the jazz bar and the last minute RMT massage I got at the spa. Everyone was so nice and helpful!"

"Pro’s - The property & room, for the most part, were clean, neat and reasonably updated. Breakfast food was good but not great. Most of the staff attempted to be friendly, but for some of the staff, English was not their primary language. The hotel was conveniently located for us. Con’s - We rented a “suite” for a little extra money and it came with a jacuzzi tub. Sadly the jacuzzi tub was very dated and wasn’t working very well. 3 of the 6 jets weren’t working at all and remaining 3 jets were very weak. There are 2 knobs that add air into the jets, one knob wouldn’t open and the other one would open but didn’t do anything. It was also incredibly loud. Upon speaking with the front desk (there was no manager on the weekend) they did reduce our room rate because of the non-functioning tub. There were also ants coming in to our room from under the hall doorway. We spoke with the front desk again and were told that the hotel had someone come in a few times to spray and it hadn’t helped. A few hours later, a staff member (his English wasn’t very good either) came by and held up a can of “Raid” and motioned that he would spray. I showed him the areas, he sprayed and left. One last thing, the room only had a mini fridge, no coffee maker or microwave, which is usually common in most rooms. The stay was okay but not up to the level of other Best Western’s I’ve stayed in. Not sure if I’d return here again."

"Breakfast was minimal at best, and could easily be improved. The breakfast staff person was excellent however. The elevator was the only place where I questionned the quality of maintenance and the choice of equipment. I was in an accessible room which was very impressive. If it were possible to add a door stop to the bathroom door, it would make it easier to enter and leave the room."

"There has never been an issue when staying here. It is definitely one of our go-to hotels when we visit Ottawa. This trip was a solo trip to pick-up our son from school. We appreciate that the location of this hotel is situated right off the highway making this property convenient and easy to locate. The staff are wonderful and always helpful. The room was clean and spacious enough. Beds are comfortable. Amenities are just what we need and never an issue to receive more if needed. Breakfast is plentiful with a nice variety of choices. Definitely will stay here again."
