"This property is in the process of being upgraded. That change will be very nice."

"We arrived on a Friday night. The parking lot was flooded due to severe area rains. The owners were working diligently to reduce the level of water. We were directed to park in the rear and had no issue doing so. I cannot and will not fault the owners. They were working very hard for those staying there. I found the room clean and comfortable. I know there have been derogatory comments about the continental breakfast. I saw plenty of options for food, however, there was a group of people that were taking so much food and putting it on their plates. This left the staff scrambling to restock and often. As soon as pastries were refilled, those that had food would cut in line to take more food while still having a full plate. While getting coffee, I reached for a creamer only to have a lady reach over me and just about take every one that was in the bin. I felt bad for the staff but she continued to work so others could have a breakfast. I love this place and hope to stay again soon."

"A snap back in time, this quaint establishment gives the vibe of earlier times. Beautiful woodwork and retained items from an earlier era. It is warm and cozy with beautiful views. It is within walking distance to a nice lakeside park. The Inn is located in an older upscale neighborhood so streets are narrow and parking is limited"

"Love the unique lobby area with fireplace. Very well put together. I stay every year. Great ecclectic rooms and decor. Wish the rooftop firepits worked. Was told the fire marshal said not allowed. Was mayfly season so great rooftop area still couldn't be used. Says rooftop bar but it's never in use, not a big deal, go downstairs to get drinks. Don't know why they don't figure out a net system to keep the mayflies out of the rooftop so it can be enjoyed and great views up there. Rooftop bar and firepits are one reason I choose Hotel Earl but can't enjoy that. Decent breakfast and bar and 24 hr coffee/tea bar."
