"Shuttle schedule FROM Airport hard to find, resulting in a 40 min. wait opposite T2. The AC fan in Room 216 on 8 April appeared to function but actually did nothing to reduce tfe 25C room temp overnight which was too high for comfort: apparently the AC only works in rooms from May onwards so hotel needs to advise that it is not functioning and to open the window. Also the “mattress protector” was plastic backed (causing night sweating) and was stained in any case - it needed a deep clean or replacement, ideally with an all cotton type. "

"Was initially given a room with a view of a wall in a internal courtyard. After complaining they gave me a higher floor with a partial view of the city. Hotel is wedged into an awkward spot so only premium rooms have views. Pool was closed. Location v central but too many ppl there"

"The experience was so memorable that I ended up staying here twice during my trip—that says it all. The location is fantastic: close to everything, just steps from Atocha, with multiple metro stations nearby (Embajadores and Estación del Arte are both within an 8-minute walk). If you’re planning to rent a car, there’s even a Sixt office right across the street, which is very convenient. The service is exceptional, the rooms are very comfortable, and the hotel offers great amenities including parking, a gym, a pool, and a fantastic terrace and rooftop area. Room service was quick, and the food was consistently delicious. Overall, an excellent experience in Madrid. I would definitely stay here again."
