Neat hotel in city center

Outstanding location, comfortable bed, good AC, friendly staff, great breakfast, nice pool (especially since it was very hot when we were there). Only downside was the many mosquitoes in the room: we killed 8 the first day, and this was the dry season.

Great location and really friendly staff. The pool was a huge plus, we didn’t think we would use it, but it was really nice to hang out there during the hottest part of the afternoon. The room seemed a little overpriced, but that was probably because of the location. There’s a full restaurant downstairs and a great café across the alley.

Our room on the 4th floor was very nice. There is no elevator, so be carefull if you are not fit enough to climb. The communal bathroom was very clean and modern. We recommand this hotel.

Fun fact, this place used to be a school. So the rooms are very spacious former classrooms. And the patio has been enhanced with a lovely pool. This place is within walking distance of the main old town locations to visit in Bangkok, like the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Wat Arun, and also not too far from China Town. Yet, it's a quiet place to have a good night's sleep. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was good too.

Great place to hop to the Grand Palace.

I felt unease to be at a place that has limited space, narrow or inconvenient to move freely. I was greeted at this place with narrow congested streets, the entrance to the hotel is through a coffee shop, or an alternative of tiny walkway barely fit both human and a suitcase. No elevator up to the 4 floor which makes you dependent on seeking help for heavy luggage. Once inside, the layout of the ground seems relaxing with koi pond, dining and pool area with plenty of seating to relax and unwind. The location is within close proximity to the Grand Palace. However the hotel itself is very difficult to find. The hotel sign is not visible and fixated at the height that makes visibility difficult. When I travel out of the area, I can’t get taxi to bring me back because they don’t know the location. The bright side of this Hotel is that it is exceptionally clean, comfortable bed, the breakfast was reasonably good with typical eggs, toast, cereals, vegetables, rice and fruits, tea and coffee. The personnel are extremely sweet and courteous.

Pros: oversized King bed, included breakfast, decent location near tourist spots and public transport Cons: there is a hostel that is part of the property, the property is quite noisy with no soundproofing and a bizarre knocking that can be heard in the middle of the night a few times per night. Thought it was other guests at first, but perhaps pipes or something else. Rooms quite a bit run down and bathroom shower is same level as floor so it will be quite wet. Wouldnt stay at again.

Goed hotel vlakbij koninklijk paleis en What Pho

Leuk hotel en ideaal als je Bangkok Old Town wil verkennen. Hotel zit in een voormalige school en is nog niet zo lang open. Alles ziet er dan ook netjes uit. Klein zwembad met genoeg stoelen. Ontbijtbuffet is goed en betaalbaar.
