The staff were Always helpful and watchful about Your safety as a guest It was in close vacinity of Entertainment and accessibility to Central Bangkok. Also for the Khaosan Road and the road behind that feature fantastic live music . Also about a 4 minute walk to the canal and 5 to Golden Mountain ( a must see ) I’d advise to use Grab or bolt for access into The Iconsiam district

Nice hotel in a great location

The hotel was clean, well maintained and in a great location. We were made to feel very welcome by the staff. Would definitely recommend to others. The only downside was a slightly hard mattress, and the (optional) breakfast options which were not as good as some other options for breakfast in the area.

Conveniently located and the staff is very friendly. The rooms are very basic, the air-conditioning is quite noisy and the mattress is a bit too firm. The swimming pool is decently sized but there isn't enough space or sun beds for an acceptable number of guests. Also the sun beds are very close to the pool so when water splashes they get wet.

Great value proposition given the pool and nice rooms. Very helpful staff. My first room smelled very strongly of some kind of cleaner, disinfectant or possibly even insecticide. Second room was very nice upper floor and newer with no smell. The pool guy dumped concentrated bleach into the pool while I was swimming which I thought was probably not a safe thing. There was some pool rowdiness one evening not obviously stopped by staff but a kid screaming in the middle of the night was acted on.

Chern hostel is very conveniently located, everything is within a walking distance. The room has everything what you need but nothing to write home about. The property is a bit tired and needs updating. We booked several rooms and rooms on the 3rd floor smelled of drains. Pool area was surprisingly excellent. It is a great value for money however, it is not a comfortable holiday hotel.
