"The property is huge but an old buildings. We requested to be moved to another unit because the first unit assigned to us, there was a big dent on the dishwasher, the door trim has a big hole on the front door, holes on the toilet wall. Unfortunately, the second unit assigned to us, the guests on the second floor were still awake at 0130 in the morning,so we can hear them walking. The staffs are courteous."
"Clean, enjoyable free hot breakfast, convenient coffee shop in lobby. Clean hot tub and sauna. At the far end of Banff Ave but not too bad of a walk to main shops.
A bit noisy, can hear everything in the hallway.
Parking was hit or miss. If you didn’t pay for the underground garage, you had to park around back. Depending on the time, you may not get a close spot.
Although not the worst situation, we came back to the room late afternoon and the room still hadn’t been cleaned. We asked the front desk if they could make sure someone went by and they told us they would. When we arrived back late at night, the room hadn’t been touched. Also the shower gel and shampoo were empty and we had to ask to get them refilled. Again, not the worse situation, just annoying."
"It was a really good stay. But during my time there, the loca5ions was undergoing significant renovations. This didn't detract from the stay significantly but meant there was an occasional moment where you came out an elevator to be greated to a workman up some step ladders. It also meant the room was dustier than normal. However, the hotel compensated for this by giving me complimentary access to the breakfast buffet. The staff were also great and incredibly efficient. Likewise the main facilties remains completely availabl, so any disruption by the work was minimal. I'd definitely stay again if I return to banff."
"We stayed three nights in the hotel. We our room is with a balcony having the Mountain View. We had our morning coffee at the balcony. The hotel offer free bus tickets for traveling to downtown Banff during stay. Recommend the Sudden Sally restaurant for the breakfast."
