"The chalet rooms are bit stuffy and smells of firewood inside from the usage of wood burning fireplace. The ambience is nothing spectacular as its away from the main Banff strip. But its cosy, and decent rooms with working kitchens. Can get noisy if residing on the main floor due to wood deck floors above which really is noisy with guests walking above."

"Friendly staff, and it was a nice surprise to be upgraded to a suite. The hotel is very convenient for the ski bus, and the grotto hot tub was the highlight after a day on the slopes. It’s about a 10-minute walk to downtown Banff, and there’s also a bus stop right outside the hotel if you’d rather not walk."
