Clean room/friendly staff - great value

One of the best Red Roof Inns there is in terms of cleanliness. Front desk is friendly and efficient, room was clean and well maintained. Linens and towels were clean, the housekeeping staff do a great job here. Overall a pleasant stay.

I stayed here for work travel while in Columbia. You get what you pay for, which is my best takeaway. The front desk staff were kind. However, the whole property reeked of weed, with a very mildewy/musty room smell (lingered on suitcase and clothing for 2 days). I believe some people are motel residents who loiter around the property. I’d recommend spending a little more if it's within your budget to stay elsewhere because the property photos and description are pretty misleading.

Unsafe, unclean and not at featured

The photos of this property are misleading. It is not in a safe area. The person who checked us in was kind. The room was ok. However the outside area, stairwells, balconies, shared spaces were unclean and the property did not feel safe. There were people lingering outside, trash and dirt as well as what appeared to be dried vomit on walkways.

Ok for the price

There was a ton of car traffic in and out with no one ever going inside. There were several aggressive dog staying there. I had my show dogs with me and they were almost attacked by a dog that was standing by the front door. I had requested a ground floor room due to a knee replacement but they did not hold one for me and the elevator was not working. Very strong smell of weed everywhere. Room was clean, the bed was terrible, and the shades did not keep out much light.

Go to a different Red Roof

We always use Red Roof on long travel because we have a dog and their free dog policy is great. However, this had to be the worse Red Roof I have ever stayed at. No fridge, no microwave, no coffee, noisy, dirty and while 3 stories high, out of order elevator. Ugh - stay away, there are other Red Roofs north and south of this on I95.

Bare-bones and run down… used to be a good value for quick over-night stop, but now things are old, out-dated and not working. Price is low, but should be lower. Elevator not working, window a/c unit was filthy, heat was sort of working.

Short time here

The room was not clean when I arrived. I waited until houaekeeping cleaned and they changed the bed and mopped the path you walk. There was actual chicken all undwr tgw bed that was visable. It was also unser the air conditioner ans in the drawers. I funally cleaned the whole room myself because it wasn't being taken care of when I reported it several times. After I cleaned my own room, it eas a decient stay. I like where the property is located. The staff at the front desk is great.

Check -in was smooth and easy. The room was clean for the most part.The sheets were stained and the towels had dried toothpaste on them. There was a homeless couple who slept in the middle of the walkway next to my room. They would wait until 9:00 pm, then come to the second floor hall to stay the night and fight with each other until 10 am. I t was difficult to sleep with them screaming and banging the walls. The problems weren't just at night! It was very uncomfortable even leaving my room during the day , being as though they would hear my door open, and come up to me asking for money or if I had any extra food or cigarettes. I did make complaints at which they stated they were "un aware of the situation and they would look into it". Nothing was ever done about the problem for the length of my stay. Upon checking out one of the long-term residents had told me these people live in a tent behind the red roof inn and they frequent the area and that the saff just doesn't care they are there. Definitely not what I was expecting. Choose another place!

The hotel housed homeless individuals. People were smoking and drinking all around the hotel. I felt unsafe. I didn’t feel comfortable being on the first floor and didn’t want to leave my car unattended. I observed drug use and sales in and around the hotel. I was very disappointed with my stay. The room smelled of cigarettes and I had bedbugs.
