"We arrived late evening by train so being able to enter the hotel directly from the station was a big bonus. Check in was smooth and efficient, the friendly staff gave us a complimentary room upgrade which was much appreciated. Our room was beautiful and spacious, the mattress and pillows very comfortable. "We stayed for a night for a birthday celebration. On arrival, the receptionist had informed us that we received a free upgrade on our room! The room was lovely. Lovely decor, felt cosy and very comfortable. The fridge had milk in for our use and a couple of breakfast bits which were complimentary. "Lovely 2 night stay for our anniversary using the bridal suite! The room is well laid out and spacious. The amenities are good and food is of good quality. We couldn’t fault the service and how pleasant the staff were. My only niggle was the fried eggs in the morning could have been better if kept heated on the buffet. But overall and excellent breakfast buffet with plenty of choice and great quality."

"We had a nice room on the 10th with a large comfortable bed, everything was clean and well cared for with lovely soft towels. Tea making equipment and biscuits provided. All of the staff from reception, waiting and cleaners were very friendly and helpful"
