"I had not stayed at the property for some years since it was the Westin. The upgrades were fantastic. Beautifully appointed rooms. The only complaint I have is my favorite restaurant Matsuhisa was closed both days of my stay for private events.. I ordered room service instead which was really disappointing. The food was really underwhelming. Overcooked."

"We had a lovely deluxe ocean view room. Spacious, bright. Bed was comfy. We didn’t use the pool area bit it looked nice and had great seating areas with elevations for views. The rooftop bar was amazing for a sunset cocktail and the same place was where a delicious breakfast was served. Continental breakfast buffet and hot options could be ordered off a menu. Hotel was ideally situated close to the beach, restaurants."

"Fully equiped in every way though I would recommend people be very careful with the step up into the bedroom, my wife tripped and may have broken a rib after landing heavily. The glass she was holding shattered and cut her. The vacuum cleaner had no suction and there was no broom!!! But overall the penthouse was awesome. Yes, a bit dated but very comfortable and we would stay there again. After my wife had the fall, I contacted the staff and they were super nice and offered to come...

"Great short 2 day stay for family of four (2 teenagers and parents). Next to beach and very nice quiet neighborhood environment. Host was excellent in her communication. "

"The room was very clean with a beautiful view of the city from the balcony. A nine minute walk to the beach and many different eateries and ice cream shops. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. And sleeps six comfortably and probably up to eight if you have little kids that can sleep on the couch. The only thing that made me nervous about this property was the communication with staff. There were times responses took up to and over a month."

"The staff and general facilities were excellent. Faultless. We had a fantastic stay. The service around the pool and the staff’s attention and constant willingness to help us enjoy our stay did not go unnoticed. The food was also excellent all round. The only negatives were some technology issues with the room and the mosquitoes around our private pool. The staff did every they possibly could to help so I really cannot complain."
