"Very nice villas in the jungle. Amazing location and cool view of the jungle from the room. Excellent room with clean sheets and clean bathroom. The pools were really nice but the wooden flooring around the pools are getting worn which is tricky with a small baby. The atmosphere was really calm and I believe that this will be the most relaxing stay we have in Bali. Super cool hotel and very attentive staff. We even had a baby crib on the room upon arrival."

The Sebali Resort

10/10 Excellent

"We had a wonderful 9 nights at the Sebali Resort. The food was excellent throughout our stay with great menu choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The spa was also amazing and we had a couple of great full body massages by the experienced team. Srina, you have magic hands!! All the staff are so polite and accommodating, they are well trained and most speak English very well. There were only two things that weren’t great but one was not the fault of the hotel. The adjacent resort, the Kayon, was expanding and renovating. When you headed to either of the restaurants for meals you could see and hear all the machinery and tools being used. It ruined the atmosphere but it became amusing for my husband and I to watch the building practices. We thankfully couldn’t hear any of the construction work from our room, so we had a very peaceful stay and enjoyed listening to the sound of the waterfall as we fell asleep or relaxing by our pool. The only other issue for us was the bed. It was very hard, but Patek from housekeeping did his best to add an extra layer of softness for us. We still had a wonderful time and would return to the property, but would suggest the management invest in some new mattresses and maybe some sun cover by the private pools."

A special appreciation to Djoni and other front office staffs that were trying hard to get and to give us the information about the local festivals at that time - the information that we were not able to find online. The room is romantic and luxurious with a terrace and private pool overlooking the jungle. The staff is so attentive to every need of yours, and their restaurant offers delicious food. "Amazing rooms and pools. In middle of jungle, so very sedate. Suits most, but if you like walking out to a restaurant, you’re out of luck. You need a cab to get in to Ubud Staff very friendly and kind. Slow at breakfast and they ran out of beer in restaurant. I’d still give it a 9/10 though. It’s beautiful and relaxing. "
