Beautiful resort. Very quiet and the staff are amazing. The rooms are large and you feel like you’re all alone in the jungle. The pool is not heated but is very nice and larger than expected. The food is great with many options

I had a truly wonderful experience at Sanna Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with a relaxing atmosphere and very clean, well-maintained rooms. Every detail, from the comfortable beds to the delicious breakfast, showed great care and quality. The location is also very convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. I highly recommend Sanna Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay. It’s definitely one of the nicest hotel i have visted.

The Sanna Ubud is absolutely magical. From the moment you enter, the serenity washes over you. The rooms are extremely comfortable and beautiful with generous plunge pools that make you feel both luxurious and somehow grounded. The food is delicious, and the care of the staff is absolutely unmatched! Do not miss the spa, even if you just go down to see it. It’s a few miles outside of Ubud proper, but GoJek rides are easy and cheap. We will absolutely be recommending Sanna to everyone who will listen!

Was probably one of the better hotels I stayed at in my life. From the private room in the jungle, to the amazing service from the staff, to the even better food, was simply just an amazing getaway. Highly recommend to anyone looking to visit this place. .

I would say this place was outstanding overall. Great for couples getaway. Very relaxing ambiance. Staff and service was great, very attentive. Room was nice and the view was spectacular. Food was delicious. Had great experience here.

Impressive hotel/resort, the rooms are amazing with a private pool and garden. The restaurant is also very good, with many options and very high-quality food. The staff is very friendly and they will do everything to make your stay super comfortable. Definitely recommend this hotel/resort, you will not regret it.

This resort is beyond 5 stars. The property is immaculately well kept, the staff are attentive and will go out of their way to make sure you are happy. No request is too big. The resort is lush, green and at a standard that isn’t seen very much at resorts of any size.

Beautiful resort grounds however food at the hotel was not great! Our room was close to the restaurant and we could hear the music playing all night even with our doors closed. One of draw cards to this place was its Spa. Unfortunately during our stay the travelator was not working due to maintenance which would require a steep climb of 100+ steps back to the resort. Not ideal and we weren’t notified of this until our check-in. Understandable that maintenance needs to take place but please don’t keep changing the days of when this would take place as it meant we had to keep changing our spa date which then led to not being able to attend the spa as there were no available times when the travelator was operational. Mozzie spraying also took place during our time there and again not prior warning this would happen before our checkin. This place has the making of being a superb 5 star resort but needs to learn the finer details in what makes a resort stand out from the rest. Good food, communication and attention to detail (in my opinion).

Staff very keen to please and food was beyond superb . Only issues are spa is nearly impossible to access unless you are super fit and inclinator not working , a rack for towels outside would be handy and the bathroom products did not live up to the quality of everything else

Hotel it’s self its nice in good condition. Villas are spacious with nice pool and outdoor chill area. Main pool are its a bit kitschy - metal monkeys on each corner. Staff its very attentive but very slowly service especially if you requesting room service.

There’s so much to say about this lovely place and all of the wonderful staff that works here. We came here for our honeymoon and they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was everything we wanted and more. Back in the states, I worry about being an inconvenience to the staff, however you can tell that the staff here WANTS to help you. From the moment we walked into our room, they had decorated it with flower petals and made sure we had the jungle view room (as we kindly requested). It was beautiful and they truly made us feel like King and Queen. I don’t usually write reviews, I’m usually a silent watcher, but I had the best experience here and felt like I just had to share! :)

As first-time visitors to Bali, staying at Sanaa Ubud was an unforgettable experience. The property is absolutely stunning—tucked away in the lush greenery of Ubud, it offered a peaceful and serene atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. The rooms were beautifully designed, combining modern comfort with traditional Balinese touches. What truly made our stay exceptional was the staff. Every person we encountered was warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made us feel right at home. The setting was so tranquil that it felt like a hidden oasis. From the peaceful gardens to the beautiful pool with breathtaking views, everything about the property invited us to unwind and soak in the beauty of Bali. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to experience our first trip to this incredible island. We highly recommend Sanaa Ubud to anyone looking for a serene, luxurious getaway in Bali, with outstanding service that truly sets it apart. We can’t wait to return!

Property is beautiful and staff is very welcoming and friendly. The spa services are amazing. The downside is the rooms and spa are hard to get to due to a broken lift. You have to walk down many flights of stairs to get to the spa and lower rooms. It is not handicap accessible at all. Additionally when we checked in our room was overbooked so they said they “ upgraded” us to a room with a better view of the jungle. However this meant we had to climb down more stairs and the room was smaller than the one we had booked. They offered to switch our room after two nights however it was while we were going out on a tour and we were unable to see the new room/ pack up our belongings. We only had a limited amount of time to choose to move and unfortunately missed them time due to not being at the property.

Our stay far exceeded expectations wrt service (butlers, restaurant and spa staff), food quality, restaurant and overall ambiance. We loved our 5 night stay in a Butler Valley Pool Villa, which was very relaxing. The afternoon rain storms were fantastic! We had several treatments at the spa and three private yoga classes, which were all excellent. The spa location and setting are sublime and fantastic! Raditya “Mr Sun” gave excellent private yoga classes down by the river. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the therapists’ names but they were great too. While we enjoyed our stay, and would definitely return, this property (or parts of it) isn’t for everyone. It’s located on a steep hillside in a jungle, which is great for ambiance and views, but it might not be the place for anyone that isn’t comfortable with steep slopes and narrow, steep uneven stairs. There are golf carts for access to the upper levels of the resort only. The spa and lower area is currently only available by steps, but a new funicular/elevator is expected to be operational soon.) It may not be suitable for people with limited mobility or small children. Butler suites are worth the splurge. The butler team uses WhatsApp messenger to keep track of guest requests across shifts. Very organized. They’ll arrange room service and anything that you may need. We were in excellent hands with Yupik, Angga, Wawan, Jaka and Dedy covering the shifts. The restaurant and housekeeping teams were all also very attentive. Thx
