I had a comfortable and pleasant stay at JR Inn Asahikawa. The location is excellent—directly connected to the Asahikawa Station and close to shopping and dining options. The rooms are clean, modern, and well-equipped, though on the smaller side. I especially appreciated the public bath and the free coffee service. Great value for a convenient and relaxing stay.

Great Stay

Comfortable beds, easy access to Aeon Mall traveling during the Japanese New Year Holiday, since many local residents were closed. It was nice to have a bath ready coming back from skiing.

Centeal location above AEON and very nice hotel. Though hotel parking is shared with the shopping mall customers with no dedicated spaces for hotel customers only, and so parking space could be inconvenient and quite far from hotel entrance if the mall is busy.

Very very nice, will definitely choose this hotel again when revisiting. Great view, nice area with shopping district, JR station, Aeon shopping mall. One bad side is you will have to pay for parking fees, this is calculated daily, they will take your existing Aeon parking card and stamp it whatsoever, you can reentry unlimited amount of numbers with the "upgraded" ticket

The location is really very convenient. The room and the big bath is very clean, though the hotel itself is not very new. The only problem I would say is the breakfast. The breakfast area is not inside the hotel. It is one storey below. That place is a commercial buffet and the cutleries are not very clean.
