I had an excellent stay! Beautiful classic room with everything you need- a water kettle, a writing desk, a nice view, and a soft bed. The lobby Konbini was perfect for snacks, drinks, souvenirs, and late night meals. The lobby doesn't have wifi but the young man at the front desk called a taxi to the airport for me after I had checked out, he even escorted me to the door to talked to the driver for me. Lovely and not on a major tourist route.

The transportation was very unclear and at times confusing. There are also not many places to eat that are foreigner friendly from our experience.

We paid for a non smoking room but when we walked in it smelt overwhelming like smoke. We let staff know and they did move us to another room but it was smaller and actually a downgrade from what we originally paid for, with no other compensation. This is disappointing because I already feel like the hotel is expensive for what it is. Ontop of that, upon spending time in the new room, there was still a slight smoke smell, I imagine it was from the cloth chairs which retained the smell. At least there were fans which helped blow to smell out the windows.

I was disappointed with the quality and cleanliness of the room for the price. It was rather worn. Additionally the air conditioning was not strong and could not be adjusted with a thermostat. Probably the worst thing was that even though it was a non-smoking room there was a faint smell of stale smoke and part of the carpet had a very bad smell too.
