This hotel fit the bill for that purpose for a three-night stay, being no more than five minutes from the station on a very direct route. It's a fairly basic property and has seen better days, but it is priced accordingly, so that was a fair trade-off for me. Breakfast options were limited, but again it was priced accordingly. "Short walk to Avoriaz express gondola up to Avoriaz. Flew to Geneva and transferred to here. Stayed 4 night and skied 3 days. Loved the place. Ate there 2 nights and the food was delicious and the company of the other guests was delightful. Thank you to all the staff. "
