"Sadly, for a new building, it had squeaky floors and a squeaky shower basin. I always felt like when I stepped or did something. I was irritating the people who lived below me. Though I appreciated the room and amenities and the staff."

"The only downfalls were that we had to pay extra for an early check-in and when we called the front desk in the night no one amswered the phone."

"The smell of the room (I've stayed in 2 different rooms here while in town for work) will knock you over when you first walk in (if you're normally a clean person) - it smells like someone's been hiding a year's worth of work socks and underwear under a mattress. The rooms are "generally clean" but I had a look around with my handy dandy UV light in the dark and, yeah, no. The views are underwhelming but we were there to sleep and work - although we did get to enjoy a view into the trailer park...

"Whiskey Lounge with great soft couches! That was fun with a really knowledgeable lady serving drinks. Rooms were very clean and this older hotel still looks and feels comfortable and quiet. It's not made of paper mache so you don't hear everyone next door or in the hallway."

"When we first arrived we got a terrible room, it was filthy and not at all like pictures uploaded online, my husband and I considered not staying at all as it was so terrible. We were moved to another room which was much smaller but noticeably cleaner and renovated to look a little bit more presentable. Still nothing too exciting and the other room had already put a bad taste in our mouth. We ended up staying and it was okay for the nights we were there but just based on the false advertising on...

"Room 407 just needs a better cleaning of the corners where flooring meets the walls and lights between the beds need a dusting. Beds really comfortable though."

"At first we thought it was fairly clean but when I went to make breakfast I found a frying pan in the cupboard with rice and grease still on it. There is no salt or pepper or anything to make cooking a little easier while traveling. We had two big towels for 5 people. The master bedroom is on the main road and the sound of traffic is quite loud. It was expensive for what it is."

"They are undergoing renovations right now so the physical space is a bit messy but the room was great, staff were excellent, professional and helpful. Very convenient right off the Hwy 1 but the room was quiet Breakfast was predictable but completely adequate. For the price it's a good bargain"

"This place is a hidden gem in Port Albernie. This is a updated place with everything you needed. It was nice to have the kitchenette in the suite. We were here for a baseball Provincial over the weekend, it was nice to make our own breakfast and lunch. The staff so kind and nice. They take pride in this place and you can tell. Highly recommend to anyone, great for families."

"Very dated facility !!!!! I need of updating ( a lot of updating) Noisy as the facility is located on a main road to hospital with ambulance sirens constant."

"This motel was very low end not worth the money we paid. Buyer beware. The motel is old and run down. It had a homeless camp feel to it. It came with good reviews that is why we chose it but now that I stayed there a weekend it was a huge mistake. Did not feel safe staying there."
