"Good location - easy walk to the loch and a restaurant next door. Room felt a bit dated and shabby - there were no luggage racks, the window wouldn’t open, the main light didn’t work. Staff were efficient and friendly. Fine for one night. Note: you need to put your room key in a wall slot to get electricity in the room."

"Beautiful lake view, great staff and lovely spa. The restaurant is convenient and good quality. This place is top"

"Everything was great at The Oak Tree Inn! Staff were wonderful (especially Kay) so friendly and welcoming! The pub was so nice with a cozy fire. Our food and drinks were great. Our room had a great view of the water and the sunset."

"Great location and charming village. Wish we had planned to spend more time there!"

"Room was clean but small. Mattress and pillows not that great."

"From the moment we walked in, we were treated like royalty in the stunning castle. Our bags were immediately taken to our room in the tower, reservations for dinners, suggestions for hikes and exploring and help with arrangements for our departure in a couple days. Breakfasts were phenomenal and top notch. Breakfast was delivered to our room on the day of departure at 4:30am and our bags taken back down to our rental car. The spa experience was exceptional. "The cabin/cottages were nice, and updated. The restaurant Palomino and main building is getting dated and service is falling off. The breakfast was great as usual and most staff is friendly. Wifi is terrible and non-accessible or very slow at best"

"Lovely spa, stunning views from the hotel and great location close to Glasgow airport. Hotel staff very accommodating, allocating bedrooms for family close to one another."

"Lots of character, dining excellent, breakfast less so with limited range of non cooked foods."

"The room was clean and bed comfortable. Nice decor in the room. Evening meal food was excellent. Breakfast was disappointing, not cooked to the same standard of the evening food. Dog friendly. Huge carpark. Fabulous position with views over the bay. Just be aware its a mile past the centre of Helensburgh and it's a lovely walk into town."

"Very close to the airport. The hotel is in the airport grounds. Therefore, when we dropped off my wife to check in with the luggage, I had to pay to exit the parking. Nobody told me this at check-in. The window in the room was stuck open making the room very noisy. The only good thing about this place is the proximity to the airport and the price was reasonable"
