"As another reviewer stated, it's a bit quirky in decor and furnishings. Needs heavier drapes or shades on windows and layout of the family "suite" unusual with access to the tiny loo room and shower through the smaller bedroom, which doesn't have a door. Lovely host, good coffee/tea selection."

"The main thing wrong with this hotel is the furniture. It’s drab and not in good condition, the table over the mini fridge was tapped up with brown tape, to hold it together. Can’t you just buy a cheap new one? The chair by the bed was badly stained and there was gum in the carpets. In the bathroom the bath was stained and had no plug and no plug in the sink either, so hard to shave. These all make the place feel really unwelcoming. "First we made a book by error by accidentally typing in the wrong date. So change the date we just had to pay the full room amount again. We asked them to refund the cancellation price because it was just a date error that we corrected immediately. They just did not respond and did not refund. Then we showed up and the room was right across the hall from the front desk, so I’m sure the employee there could just hear every word we were saying through the paper thin walls. "Very affordable prices and in Horley which is conveniently near to Gatwick Airport. The continental breakfast is good and the inhouse restaurant serves delicious and very affordable Indian food. They also have laundry facilities. I was very happy with my stay."
