False Creek runs from English Bay up to the Science Center. There's now a walking and bike path that runs completely around False Creek - from English Bay, past Yaletown, around the Science Center, and up to Granville Island and beyond.

False Creek used to be Vancouver's industrial inner harbour. One-hundred years later, it has been retrofit and renovated and gentrified. Some of the architecture preserves that history. What remains now is a peaceful places where sky and sea meet. "Overall OK stay. Check in done by ‘trainee’ was fine. She could have been a bit more pleasant. Parking garage and elevators/stairs up to lobby are sketchy ! Not clean, smelly and didn’t feel 100% safe. One elevator OOS but there are 2 others. Room is dated and doesn’t look like pics online. But overall, did the job for our girls get away. I would not stay here again. "

"Stunning property with great views. I found the rooms not veey sound proof. I would get woken up from other people entering the rooms. The doors just close very loud. And the hot tub was luke warm, with it being cooler outside still it would of been nice for a bit more heat and jet pressure. But other then that the hotel was beautiful, staff was friendly, very clean. "

"The good: Staff is great. The pool is great, as well as the gym and hot tub. The bad: The room was fairly dated, we had a chip in the wall and the bathroom drain was not working fully. We also had empty bottle of shower gel when we arrived. For the Fairmont, you kind of expect everything to be perfect as I have stayed at lots of Fairmont properties before and this was the most underwhelming Fairmont experience I have had."
