"What a lovely place. The reception staff were welcoming and professional, and the facilities were excellent. It was quite busy during the day because of half term, but by the evening things became much calmer and we were able to enjoy everything properly. The room itself was lovely. There were a couple of minor issues, as the previous guests had left rubbish behind on the lamp, and we noticed some silverfish in the bathroom. Neither issue had a major impact on our stay though. "Howfield Manor is a really lovely hotel. Quite a unique venue. The staff were so helpful. This is my second time at the hotel yesterday was for sisters Celebration of Life. We were in the marque which was beautifully laid out, the food was extremely good and the staff were very helpful. We had a lovely room which was very clean and we had a superb view of the gardens. Highly recommended."

"Very clean room with plenty of tea making facilities and lots of hot water, fluffy towels and a comfortable bed. Helpful full length mirror in bedroom. Some of the communal areas look a bit tired, but staff welcoming and room was great for my needs (staying overnight in area ready for family get together). Great location for Hythe and walk along seafront short drive away."
