"Highly recommend this lovely family run hotel in a quiet location outside rethymno. Beach is down the road. The entire staff/family was warm, welcoming and professional. All our needs were addressed with joy and compassion. The hosts offered detailed advice about all the great places to visit. My husband had a health issue and we were pointed to the best clinic. As well, due to the issue, extra care was taken in our room. Truly a gem of a small hotel!"

"Es war sehr sauber und der Service war gut. Das Hotel und die Zimmer sind modern und luxuriös. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß, dafür ist das Bad im Verhältnis zu klein geraten. Dafür gibt es eine sehr schöne Regenduschen. Nicht schön ist, dass das Hotel keinem Parkplatz auf dem Gelände hat. Es gibt allerdings einen kosten Parkplatz 150 Meter entfernt. "An exquisitely designed property in a charming town, near Heraklion. Although it's no fault of the hotel, GPS programs insist on directing you on tiny, steep lanes to bring you to and take you from the property. Highly recommended to not rely on GPS apps. "Very beautiful views atop a mountain overlooking the Mediterranean. The road up is a challenge, for sure. Probably unlike anything else you have driven, but very doable with a little patience. "This is a recently renovated old hotel. It still has that grand hotel ambience. It's a little off the city center but is still quite easy to walk to all the things you want to see or eat. The sea view is actually a view of the ferry port, so that's not much. The breakfast is excellent. Overall, it's quite nice. "
