"My husband and I stayed for 2 nights to go to an Angels game and to go to Disneyland. The room was clean and comfortable. Ramon was so helpful. He really made us feel welcome. The pool was being remodeled so we couldn't use it. The new furniture looked amazing. They had a good variety of items for breakfast."
"The only thing I was confused about was over night parking . I paid for 2 night to sleep me and my car . I didn’t know it was extra for the vehicle to stay the night . By then the next night , a different staff member gave the over night parking pass with out asking for a fee like the first staff member did. Kind of felt like a hustle ."
"After doing extensive research to find a good but inexpensive hotel, I booked this room for three nights while we visited Disneyland for two days. We were happy with our stay since we only needed a place to crash at night. Our family of six spends open-to-close days at the Disney parks, so we don't need a fancy hotel. Would've been nice to have breakfast and a shuttle included? Yes, but we'd rather save our money for other things and stay somewhere basic but clean.
Solara Inn hotel was clean and seems like recently renrg we needed our three-day stay, including a washer and dryer. There is a small pool, but we didn't use it. ' We got the room with fridge and microwave.
There is no complimentary breakfast, but you can ask for a "to-go" bag, which included a Danish, a muffin, and a granola bar. That was actually a nice surprise.
As for the room, the beds were very clean, the towels were in good condition, and the room itself seemed clean with no major issues. I didn't see a single bug during our stay. The reviews were accurate about the cleanliness of the rooms. There was also plenty of parking. Since our room was on the back side of the hotel, we were even able to watch the Disneyland fireworks from outside our door the evening we arrived.
To get to Disneyland in the morning, we took City Bus Route 42, which runs every 20 minutes and costs $2 per person. On the way back, we took an Uber that cost $14 for all six of us. It was easy, convenient, and well worth the savings."
"This was our first time booking a hotel stay for Disneyland. We normally stay with family in Winchester and make the drive out to the park but decided to try something differently this time around. I have to stay, we made the right decision booking a stay at this hotel. The kids loved everything about the hotel; from the pool, to the arcade room, and being able to view the fireworks every night outside our hotel room. The one thing I love was the hotel shuttle that takes us directly to the entrance of Disneyland. We have been to Disneyland at least 2 times a year for the past 4 years. It’s such a hassle to find parking, then haul all of our belongings, and the kids stroller through the security, then onto the tram. With the shuttle, we would just take the kids with us into the shuttle. The driver told us to leave what we needed on the stroller and he just pushed the stroller onto the shuttle. No need to close up the stroller and carry it like how we did on the tram. We are planning another trip to Disneyland at the end of this year and will definitely book a stay here again."
"This was our second time staying here. As a family of seven we love the space in the rooms, the buffet breakfast, all the amenities like the pools and the movie nights. This is definitely our Disney hotel going forward."
"The hotel is in good condition, much newer than some of the older Disneyland properties however it is a bit farther away so an Uber ride or a 20+ minute walk to Disney.
We found the staff to be excellent, quick and friendly. Marketplace is overly expensive and does not stock a lot unfortunately.
Would have appreciated Water filters on each floor of the hotel to refill bottles.
The rooms were not clean enough. The floors made our feet dirty that was first noticed upon walking around on the floor and then took pictures of the stained floors. The bed runners were also stained.
The rooms though are a great size nice modern decor."
"Super Clean room Hotel located right by Disney perfect for families. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend and stay here again."
