This hotel was in the most lovely neighbourhood, surrounded by cute shops and cafes, and right near the most scenic bridges and canal views. The restaurant underneath the hotel was amazing, I had such a wonderful meal there! All of the staff at Hotel Callisto were so kind, friendly and lovely. I loved my stay so much!

The room we stayed in was compact but comfortable for a short stay, it’s just off a main street where there are plenty of places to eat. The voucher provided for “Good Beans” the cafe just outside across the street is a lovely touch- and the coffee and pastries there were great (would have been back there again and again for a longer stay) It was noisier than we expected at night, but it is an older building so not that surprising really! - but there were ear plugs provided (if you’re a light or easily disturbed sleeper they might not be enough to block out the sound) The staff were really friendly and helpful, and we were able to keep our bags with then after check out as our train was in the afternoon. Also, super lovely Frama apothecary products in the room/bathroom. Definitely recommend a stay here- especially for heavy sleepers! Hah. Book one of the larger rooms if you’re staying more than a night or two if you can! (We booked last minute)

Wonderfull boutique hotel situated closely to the Central Station ~15min walk Nice room and quiet. 2 small points of attention: 1: warm water when showering is not really warm 2: luggage to be carried up and down narrow stairs (but the staff will kindly help you) In short: great stay for a visit to Amsterdam
