"Really enjoyed our stay at the Grange"

"Carol runs a beautiful place and always makes us.welcome"

"As we didn’t book direct with the hotel we weren’t allowed to use the pool. We were told we had to pay £12 per day to use the car park despite the website saying it is £10 per night. We asked for some food for the room, this was delivered in a paper bag, even though we’d seen in the corridor trays left out with plates, knives and forks, and sauces. "Good location and room for the price. Would stay again. Black out blinds or curtains would be a welcome addition to the room, but no complaints. Owner very helpful."

"Firstly, the hotel, staff and amenities are really good. The reason for my low score was the noise from the weddings. It was unbearable. I was in Wakefield on a business trip. I received an email a couple of days before to say there would be a wedding on the first night of my stay. When I arrived I was told that there was going to be a wedding on both days. The wedding marquee was right outside my window. It was so loud that I couldn’t even hear the tv which was a metre or so away from me....

"Large bungalow style room with full disability access and wet room. Stylish. Comfy beds. Check in lady was friendly. Room was left open when we arrived but no electricity so had to go find someone. Bathroom bin had not been emptied but otherwise clean. Struggled to find someone serve us behind the bars. Breakfast was a little anaemic but good quality and tasty. Plenty of parking near the room Would stay again."

"A very affordable and good value hotel. Large rooms and clean. Bathrooms have recently been refitted which look nice."

"The room was clean"

"The stay was great and the staff were friendly and helpful."

"The hotel is old but is well looked after and quite nostalgic I would recommend"

"Room was huge with kitchen, living area and huge bed"

"We booked this last minute for a date night in Leeds and got a great deal. Our room was spacious and luxurious with a huge bed and a nice view. Staff were excellent - just a really nice hotel - highly recommend!"
