Lovely stay Almeria

Great hotel near the coast and in the heart of the city. Friendly service and great bar! Pool was closed sadly. Also, had to park in garage across the street for 17 Euros because hotel parking was fill. All in all we enjoyed our stay!

Was a bit sceptical after reading some reviews but we just finished our holiday after the renovations and it was great! Everything was new and clean. The breakfast was great and really appreciated having items like eggs made fresh. We liked the room and slept well - it was not loud at all. The area was very good, quite close to the beach and also the city centre! One improvement could maybe be adding some chairs onto the balcony as we didn’t have anywhere to sit but the view was lovely. Also the seasonal pool’s opening months are incorrectly displayed on Expedia which was a slight disappointment but nothing to do with the quality of hotel! Really recommend and would return :)

One night stay

The hotel is in a great position. Close to the port, the Rambla and the beach area. We only stayed for one night and really only slept at the hotel. They were happy to look after our luggage before we checked in. Everything was good, the staff were very friendly. Hotel is probably a little dated compared to some.

It looks like it used to be a great hotel in the golden years. A bit tired in different areas and you can see it. However despite a bit dated our room was spacious and ocean view. Clean. Staff super friendly.

No A/C in the room and no mosquitoes screens on the balcony/windows. Even with Windows and patio doors wide open, it was very hot and the room was full of mosquitoes. We were there for one night only, so I didn't get a chance to complain and see if this can get fixed. The staff was very friendly and helpful otherwise.

Table Service..now you see him..now you don't !!

Check in was good and used parking at €15 per day but the underground car park stinks of a sewer. Had to buy air freshener for the car after 48 hours in there. Hotel is handy for the centre and we found grear olaces to eat and drink close by. Service in hotel bar was a disaster. We tried to get a drink in the bar at 2pm, no one was about so I rang the service bell. A barman appeared saying he was busy making some food and that he would come to our table and take our order. He delivered the food to the other guests table, then disappeared. Having now waited nearly 25 minutes now we left and succeeded in spending nothing at the hotel during our 48 hour stay. Regarding the hotel, it is looking dated and judging by all thr pictures of by gone movie stars who have stayed there, they are living on past memories. Finally, despite the above we had a good stay and enjoyed Almeria.

Good hotel with parking nearby

Hotel was well located, unfortunately an octoberfest tent was located near by so night time sleeping took awhile Hotel was great with friendly staff Pool was cold so avoided swimming
