"Loved staying here. It was in the perfect location in the heart of the Alfama district with the tram and tuk tuks stationed across the street. The staff was so helpful and the breakfast was so lovely. The room was nice if a bit small, not much walking room and makes you feel like a cruise ship cabin. But we weren't in the room much so it didnt matter. I would definitely stay here again."

"This property is nothing like the pictures. It’s fine once you are there but it feels misleading. I also think they want to charge US Prices for pretty standard lower end European quality. It’s definitely advertised for American tourists but quality is just not there."

"We had a junior suite so the room was pretty large and comfortable. The property is well maintained, quiet, and near several restaurants. The staff was very helpful and gave a couple of good recommendations. The breakfast was ok but the wifi was bit spotty at times. The only real issue was that the hotel is located on a private street. So, ubers have to drop you off about a block away. If you have a lot of luggage or have some mobility issues, that can be pretty inconvenient."

"Bravo and obrigada to Rio, Momo, Francois and Bruno! We felt at home at Solar Dos Mouros and the staff became friends as they helped us with directions, electricity adaptors, restaurant suggestions and transportation. Our room was lovely, with a breathtaking view of the Tagus River.
The breakfast buffet was very good and very complete with pastel de nata!
Our dinner at the hotel was excellent and delicious, with a fine selection of beverages.
We have only compliments and commendations for...

"The room is small but renovated and clean. We only stay for 1 night prior to our trip back home. The guy at the check in is very friendly and helpful. Our stay include breakfast which start at 8:00 am but we told the guy we need to leave early to catch our flight back home. He told us we can come at 7:30 so we can have breakfast before we leave which is nice of him. Good selection of breakfast with freshly baked croissant location is close to different restaurant and shop store and very...

"Location of the hotel is good but it is very outdated and is in great need of some modernization. Doors to the room utilize a physical key that you are instructed to drop off whenever you leave. This was a big pain when trying to leave in a quick fashion or when arriving at the hotel and the staff is busy with another guest. Pillow case was dirty with some kind of sticky substance, we were able to get a replacement quickly by contacting the front desk via WhatsApp (no phone in the room). Also...

"A unique place to stay in the heart of Lisbon ’s Castelo de São Jorge. The Tejo Room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Kitchenette was well-equipped and useful. The place was clean, cozy and quiet. Conveniently located, it is close to sightseeing, shopping and dining. We have enjoyed a lunch in Restaurant Guerreiro next door to the inn, and breakfast in Ludo’s within 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. We took taxi from the airport to Castle Inn.
