"Thank you for a lovely stay at the Splendid Hotel. It lives up to its name. Staff were super friendly, rooms were clean and spacious, easy to access. The best part is we were warmly welcomed despite our soggy appearance and gritty bicycles after getting caught in the rain cycling from Arles. There was a safe storage for our bikes and an elevator to get us to our room. All greatly appreciated by these tired travelers. "

"This was our second stay at the Royal hotel, our first was just an overnight stay, and we liked Nimes so much we wanted longer and couldn't imagine a better hotel. This time it totally lived up to expectations. It is amazingly convenient for the centre of historic Nimes, opposite the Maison Carre! "This is one of the best accommodation experiences I've had. Location fantastic - not in the tourist area, but still in the old section and only 5 min walk to all the action, plus a fab patisserie and a mini-supermarket around the corner. Staff were amazing - stored our bikes safely, and couldn't do enough for us.
