"Room 212 is a musty, dark dustbin closet with a lovely view of the buildings loading dock and a giant orange dumpster. Shower handle fell off in my hand. No relief offered by smug front desk who kept mentioning that I had booked through a third party (Expedia) and were therefore somehow unworthy of fair treatment. Goodbye Royal Sonesta. Never again."

"The staff was fantastic. Very clean, centrally located. Easy walk to restaurants, shopping and the metro. I just booked a 3rd stay with them this year!"

"Rooms are spacious. Courteous team right from check in to valet. Breakfast was ala carte n excellent. Good value."

"Wonderful experience at The Jefferson. Beautiful hotel. The room was spacious and exceptionally clean. Best shower with incredible water pressure! We had dinner at The Greenhouse and breakfast several days. The food and service were excellent! Can’t say enough wonderful things about this hotel."
