"Building itself is great plus staff"

"Amazing and unique hotel. All staff were exceptionally professional and the rooms were stunning. Special shout out to Henry the barman, would return just for him. Would stay again."

"Location is great. Rooms are worn-out, dark and very dusty. However, the bathroom is spacious and clean. Service at breakfast is not professional. They were lots of customers during our stay each morning and the staffs at Bridges restaurant told us that they couldn't handle with the large number of people since there wasn't enough of them. Service was very slow and unorganised. Overall, I think the hotel services and standard doesn't match with the price tag."

"This hotel is simply amazing! The location is fantastic, and the staff are absolutely wonderful. The service is exceptional! The room is small, but honestly, we didn’t need anything more. The bed is incredibly comfortable, the room is completely soundproof and the blackout curtains make it perfectly dark, so we had a fantastic night’s sleep. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely stay here again next time we visit. Highly recommended!"

"Very tiny room but in a nice position. They could have more hangers/shelves to make it more practical to put clothes"

"Staff tried to be helpful but at night the front desk was annoying and kept asking why we were in the lobby. Intrusive. Obviously during Ade week got back late so wanted to sit in lobby instead of stuffy room."

"Exceeded all expectations! So far our favorite place in Amsterdam can’t tell you enough about the hospitality & Rachael the owner is an absolute gem! Every little detail taken care of small boutique hotel with the best of everything. Breakfast is outstanding as are their cocktails at their beautiful bar 12 out of 10."

"Very clean. Great staff"

"Rooms are compact, I was only able to open 1 full size luggage at a time, just keep that in mind for future stays. Close to train station, coffee shops, café, Red Light District, everything is walkable. Bed was good, staff is friendly."

"The hotel was fine, but we were kept awake by noise from the Amsterdam Dance event. No warning was given that this was happening in the building when we booked. We were also unable to use the sky bar on Saturday night because there was a private event taking place there, which seems unreasonable given what we paid for the room."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pension Homeland. Unique setting and a good location for getting around. There was a one day public transportation strike during our stay and thankfully the hotel offers 24 hour e-bike rentals for their guests. We were able to bike to our tour locations which added to our Amsterdam experience! Staff and restaurant are excellent too! A 2 person elevator is available if required- slow but very much appreciated."
